Geocache Description:

江戸時代、諸国巡礼の旅の途中に耶馬溪を訪れた禅海和尚が手彫りでトンネルを作ったと言われています。

It is said that Monk Zenkai, who visited Yabakei during his pilgrimage to various provinces during the Edo period, carved the tunnel by hand.
