Baiļu kalns

Baiļi ir viena no senākajām kalnu slēpošanas trasēm Latvijā. Atpūtas bāze Baiļi atrodas pie pašas Valmieras pilsētas robežas, aptuveni 10 minūšu braucienā no pilsētas centra. Ziemas sporta veidu cienītāji gada aukstākajos mēnešos šeit esošajās trasēs var slēpot un snovot, ūdens tūrisma sezonā doties braucienos ar laivām un  plostiem. No slēpņa vietas paverās skats uz Baiļu kalnu,un ir redzams vecais tramplīns, kuru sen jau vairs neizmanto sacensībām.

Baiļi is one of the oldest mountain skiing tracks in Latvia. Baiļi resting base is located at the border of Valmiera city, about 10 minutes drive from the city center. Fans of winter sports can ski and snowboard on the tracks here in the coldest months of the year, and go on boat and raft trips during the water tourism season. From the Geocache hiding place, you can see Mount Baiļi, and you can see the old ski jump, which has no longer been used for competitions.

The Geocache is a plastic container that contains a guest book, a pencil and a pencil sharpener.
