Golf anyone? A tiny bit of history: Springfield Country Club is situated on a property which was of a tract of land deeded in 1681 deeded by William Penn to a surveyor, Robert Taylor. From 1730 to 1752, the land and now historic home-site were occupied by one Abraham Lincoln, great uncle of the 16th President. Today this course is open to the public 7 days a week and tee times may be booked up to 7 days in advance. But you don't need to golf to add another smiley! Happily, it may be possible to park very close to GZ. This shouldn't be too hard since a Librarian's goal is to help folks find that for which they seek.
Park. Find. Sign. Rehide. Smile!
