The water rushes down from the upper lake of the Pliva lakes through a sluice. The water was distributed to about 20 wooden houses through different channels. Fairytale houses are actually mills. According to some sources, they stood here already in the 16th century. The mill complex, which was declared a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 2009, is now just a sight - they no longer grind flour.
