This geocache is located at Troy Airport. An airport located one mile (2 km) northwest of the central business district of Troy, a city in Lincoln County, Montana. It is the owned by the United States Forest Service and is situated between U.S. Highway 2 and the Kootenai River in the Kootenai National Forest.
The Troy Exercise Path, is a 1.81 mile long walking path which loops around the perimeter of the airport. There are several exercise stations located around the path. At the entrance sits a free little library, pit toilets, signage and plenty of parking. My family loves painting rocks and collecting gemstones. Inside you’ll find an assortment of painted and shiny rocks.
Bring your own special rocks, or cool swag items to trade. Please don’t leave any trash, useless junk or food items behind. This cache is located about 10 feet off the walking path. Ticks can be more prevalent in the summer.
Congrats to B.l.e.s.s.e.d- FTF!
