A little bit of backround: This building was the first chapel in the village.
Prior to building St Margaret's of Antioch, services for assorted denominations were held in the chapel across the street from the church's current site, which is now the Staatsburg Library. The chapel was built by Mrs. Margaret Lewis Livingston, the mother of Mrs. Lydia Hoyt. Defining features of the building are the arched entrance doors, and the stained glass windows on the second floor - best viewed at night.
The library is extremely accommodating and offered the use of it's facilities for any geocaching visitors. Stop in to say hi.
