This cache was placed in celebration of the DNR’s event OutWiGo Green on May 13, 2023. The Wisconsin Geocaching Association, along with many other organizations, is partnering with the DNR to showcase all the wonderful outdoor activities you can do on State Parks and Lands. This series of caches highlights different types, sizes, and styles of hides for the beginner cacher to get started.
This is a basic Mystery or Unknown hide. Geocachers often are also puzzle lovers, so what better way to combine both! These can have a very wide range of difficulty and can use many different styles. Sometimes the location will take you to a sign or gravestone where you can collect information to get the coordinates. Other times the posted coordinates are completely false and the cache description will give you the information you need for the real coords.

Last week, 4 geocachers carpooled in 2 cars down highway 56. There were 0 delays, so they stopped for 6 minutes in a Super 8 parking lot to make a game plan. 88 minutes after they left home they arrived at 2 caches. Even with 8 eyes, they couldn’t find either. It was after 9, so they decided to go pick up a 12-pack of cookies to refuel. The cookies worked and they went back and avenged their DNF's.
