Geocache Description:

Please ignore the above position, they will only tell you this cache is on Vancouver Island.

Before we get rolling, Team KFWB GPS would like to thank you all for the dozens of e mails.

We suggest you put your great adventure stories on our cache pages.

ATTENTION CANADAZUUK! We really enjoyed your story over this past weekend. You MUST put this on the PACIFIC AGGRESSOR cache page! We howled with laughter. You're a great writer and you MUST get involved with future caches - great stuff!

This cache (ABRUPT ENCOUNTER WITH REALITY), CONTAINS:

* $200.00
* CD'S BY CRW And The Crocketts, Weezer, Oxide & Neutrino, and Incubus.
* PLUS, more items included!!

This cache is located behind a LARGE BOULDER. Above the boulder is a fir tree, with branches coming down to the level of the boulder. We placed this cache in severe rain, at dusk. (Happiness is a 4 wheel drive and a full tank of gas!). We used a Garmin 3 Plus that was actually positioned in our FWD window. We averaged the UTM, so you'll be close. Where we parked was about 5 meters from the cache, and a bearing from the FWD to the cache, was 340 deg. True (compass declination 19 deg. East).

So, in the puzzle below, you will be very close (if your math is correct) to where we parked our FWD.

Go to 466487 East, and 5370603 North. This will be your FIRST position. On a mossy old tree you will find a GPS Tag.

To get to the second position, add the number on the GPS Tag to the NORTHING of the following UTM: 431908 - 5358052. This will be your SECOND POSITION. Look for a GPS Tag fastened to a tree, about 7 feet above the base of the tree.

You now will have a first and second UTM. WHAT IS THE TAG NUMBER OF THE SECOND POSITION?

From the FIRST position, go 292.33435 deg. and from your SECOND position go 326.66393 deg. Proceed on these compass bearings.

The two lines running from positions ONE AND TWO will intersect at the position very close to the cache.

Isn't it unfortunate that we neglected to give you the distances!!!

GOOD LUCK GEOCACHERS - From Team KFWB GPS!!
