American Crows are famous for their intelligence. They can work in groups to distract larger predators and steal their food. They not only use tools, but can make tools that better suit their needs. They even hold “funerals” for other dead crows, where large groups gather around the deceased, make a lot of noise, and investigate the body in various ways for about 15 minutes.
