Just an ordinary cache with a view of Duck Island.
Duck Island, originally named Swan Island, is an artificial island that was built in 1936 to serve as a wildlife sanctuary. In 1956, the State made the island a reserve, thereby making it off limits for people. Since then, the designation has changed, but it is still considered off limits for people. Two notable intrusions to this were the placement of the 'Seattle Monolith' guerilla art installation that was placed on the island on January 3rd, 2001 and an unauthorized skate park (bowl) that was built there in 2017. Please stay off the island while looking for this cache or any other time for that matter.
