The Spider of the Permalog Warehouse
As you travel M-33 between Rose City and Mio, you would be hard pressed not to have found yourself wondering at the odd sites you see hidden in the forests on one small stretch of the road. Easter Island Heads and small Permalog Buildings sit nestled amidst the trees, and on the west side of the road stands the two main buildings that were once the crown jewel of a Northern Michigan Architectural Original, the Permalog Warehouse and Showroom. Adorned with gigantic cement moose horns, the warehouse was the base of operations for the Maier Family business.
