This building has been serving the village for the best part of 200 years. Originally built as a Church school, it was later transferred to being a Council run school and on the closure of the school, has been the Village Hall since the 1970's. It is slowly sinking into the ground - it seems foundations weren't much of a thing when it was built, and despite very recent renovations, it still needs a lot of work doing to it. But as the only remaining public space in the Village (except for the Church which is still occasionally used), it continues to be a vital resource for us.
