This location is where my Geocaching journey started. Back in May 2015, Mrs Woosa and I were hiking along the MDT. We stopped at this overlook when I discovered a small pencil box under a rock. I was intrigued. The box said to check out www.geocaching.com so I did. Several years, friends, finds, and hides later (this being my 70th hide), the original cache archived. So I bring you back to where it started for me.
To find the cache, locate the tree peering out at the overlook. There are two knots near the base of the tree that resemble a single digit number. Simply travel that # of feet vertically.
You will find a stamp pad and quite few stamps inside. Pick your favorite and use it to stamp the log book. Enjoy the journey!
