Join me as we help the Sycamore Park District clean up near the Jewel parking lot OR learn how to identify and remove some of the invasive plants that are encroaching on the Sycamore parks. Saturday, May 20 9 - 10 AM. We'll meet in the parking lot @ 9 AM then walk to Mary's Lake. It's your choice as to whether you do a clean up or plant removal. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
We're mostly going to be focusing on clean up this Saturday and maybe a little basic plant removal. The Sycamore Park District and I will bring trash bags, some gloves and plant removal equipment. If you would like to bring your own work gloves or rakes to make work a little easier, you are welcome to bring them.
I will also have some donuts from Elleson's bakery in the Jewel parking lot at 8:45 AM.
Bring your own coffee or morning caffeine.
