Geocache Description:

Leyburn is a market town and civil parish in North Yorkshire. It is located above the northern bank of River Ure in the world famous Wensleydale. It's name translates in old English to 'clearing by the stream'.

Leyburn was mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 but had no recorded population. The growth of Leyburn ever since has been to the detriment of nearby Wensley - which was also devastated in the black plague in 1563.

The cache is a magnetic nano.
