The eastern boundary of the City of Saskatoon is marked here by Range Road 3045. Willowgrove is on the west side, and the research fields to the east belong to the University of Saskatchewan. The only vehicles you might see here are service vehicles for the power lines, or to mow the grass on the road itself. This has become a popular seasonal walking route for locals (people and dogs). If you're lucky you may see rabbits, deer, foxes or coyotes. In the fall, the field may be packed with geese feeding before flying southward. Depending on the season, and how early you like to get up, the sunrises can be quite beautiful. We call it The Back Road.
