Babson Outing Club (BOC) Cache No. 14 - Sanitarium Pipsqueaks
Some History:
Before it was known as Babson College's Woodside Dormitories, this area was a Sanitarium owned by one Dr. Walter Channing. The Sanitarium housed many notable patients including Elise Hall - the first American woman saxophonist, and Starr Faithfull - the infamously murdered socialite. The Sanitarium ran until 1951, when our beloved quirked-up founder with a little bit of swag Roger Babson bought it. Initially, he considered keeping it an asylum as he was also interested in psychology apparently (because of course he was). However, he decided in the end to fold it into his blossoming business school: the Babson we know and love.
The Cache:
So far I have placed two caches at the former Sanitarium: an extremely challenging field puzzle and a medium-difficultly locked cache. Thus, I figured everyone's favorite Sanitarium ought to have a family-friendly cache anyone can find. This cache is up the road from the parking lot and near many excellent hiking trails (one of which is featured in another Sanitarium Cache GCA7KJX). In fact, this cache is up one of those very trails; across the road from the former sanitarium is a short trail with antique concrete benches used by the patients back in the day. So bring the kids, bring the dogs, and enjoy this simple find and clever container! Just be sure to use bug spray, just in case

IMPORTANT: THIS CACHE HAS BEEN PLACED BY A BABSON COLLEGE CLUB WITH THE PERMISSION AND FUNDING OF THE COLLEGE. PLEASE MENTION THIS IF CAUGHT BY MUGGLES AND USE UTMOST STEALTH.
