山崎川の桜は、日本さくらの会から「さくらの名所100選」に選定されてます。石川橋から落合橋までの2.5キロメートルの両岸には約600本のソメイヨシノの並木が続いており、この橋の周辺は閑静な住宅街となっており端午の節句の時期には山崎川の植えに鯉のぼりが棚引きます。桜の時期や端午の節句の時期が見頃です。それ以外でもウォーキング、サイクリングに最適ですので是非のんびり訪れてみてください
