Geocache Description:

20 May 2023, 10:00 - 12:00

Please join me at the Willow River State Park on Saturday, May 20, 2023.  10:00 AM to 12:00PM. I will be presenting "Geocaching 101".  This is for new and fairly new geocachers to learn the basic fundamentals of Geocaching.  This consists of a display explaining Geocaching and also numerous examples of what you can expect to find as you search for caches in the area. There will also be an experienced Geochacher(s) present to assist. Please bring a GPS or smartphone as well as insect repellent as bugs are expected. The event and class will be in the Nature Center at Willow River State Park.

Having this class as a request of the DNR and the WGA.

Permission to host event by Ashley at the Nature Center. State Park sticker is required or a day pass, can be purchased at entrance.

The DNR will be posting this class on its website, so please come out to help the DaSeadogs out in training future cachers.

This is my first event! Looking forward to it!
