Way back in 2014, I had just introduced my girlfriend Jennifer (M'sgirl58) to Geocaching, and she loved it.
One day she drove past this spot and thought, "There should be a Geocache here." This was long before we had an app, so she had to go home and get on the computer to confirm that there was indeed a Cache here, called "Haunted Tree." We later returned and logged the find (I was one of the last people to find it before it was archived).
Well, Jennifer died a year ago. Last week I went for a drive, thinking about her and our adventures, many of which were driven by Caching. I discovered that the Cache here had been archived, so I made a new one specifically to remember her.
So, when you visit, remember to say hello to Jennifer.
There isn't a lot of traffic on this road, so you should be able to pull over and grab the Cache. If you need more room, there is space to get off the roadway completely about 300 feet to the south.
I placed some nice swag to start, a Travel Coin, and a 1 ounce silver ingot for First to Find.
