Welcome to the second MI_SUMMER_FUN series. The 2023 season focuses on Michigan Inventions. Hopefully you enjoy our series. This year, we have 16 total caches; 15 traditional hides plus a bonus cache. To find the bonus cache, be sure to take note of the bonus information at each of the stops. Be sure to record the punctuation and capitalization correctly. At the end, plug everything into the phrase shown below and the bonus coordinates should be revealed!
While many locations claim fame to the history of flight, arguably the most successful airplane manufacturer our planet has ever seen was born in Detroit. The son of a German immigrant, William E. Boeing went out to form the Pacific Airplane Company in 1916. Less than a year later, the company was officialy renamed The Boeing Company. A hundred years later, The Boeing Company is still producting thousands of airplanes a year in three major categories: national defense, commercial airliners, and private/corporate aviation.
During a visit to the Boeing Museum of Flight in Seattle, Washington, I snapped this photo of arguably Boeing's most recognizable aicraft. To get the coordinates for this cache, provide the checker with the nickname of the aircraft shown below, arguably the most recognizable plane that's ever taken to the skies. (The answer is four words).
