In our household, we're big fans of lakes. Probably why we live in a state that has more lakes than any other (I see you minnesota and raise your 10,000 lakes and present alaska's 3 million.
Reflections Lake is one of our favourite for young families - it's got a 1 mile loop around the lake with excellent views of the flats around. You'll see hikers, joggers, and sometimes people kayaking and/or fishing on the lake. There are excellent caches on this loop, and always keep your eye out for wildlife!
