TRENTARSKI MUZEJ - predstavitev etnološke dediščine ter kulturnega in zgodovinskega izročila Trente
Muzej se nahaja znotraj objekta Informacijsko izobraževalnega središča Triglavskega narodnega parka Dom Trenta. Informacijsko središče je odprto vsak dan od 10h do 18h). Uradno zaprto: 1.11. do 27.4. (a tudi tedaj je dom pogosto odprt od 10h do 14h
Trentarski muzej z bogato zbirko etnološke dediščine in kulturnega ter zgodovinskega izročila predstavlja življenje v dolini Trente v preteklosti. Zanimiva je rekonstrukcija trentarske hiše s črno kuhinjo, ki ponazarja nekdanjo bivalno kulturo. Na ogled so orodje in pripomočki iz vsakdanjega življenja, izdelani predvsem iz lesa. Iz zgodovine planinstva so na ogled predmeti, ki so jih uporabljali pionirji alpinizma pri svojih vzponih v gore, fotografije znamenitih trentarskih gorskih vodnikov in bogata literatura s tega področja. Tu je še trentarski zvon, ki so ga ulili v Trenti iz domačega železa in je dolga leta visel v trentarski cerkvici. Posebna pozornost je namenjena eni najbolj znanih zgodb o človeškem pohlepu, domišljavosti, pa tudi o usodni moči ljubezni, pravljici o Zlatorogu.

THE TRENTA MUSEUM - presentation of the ethnological heritage and the cultural and historical tradition of Trenta valley
The museum is located inside the building of the Triglav National Park Info Centre Dom Trenta. It is open Every day from 10 a.m. till 6 p.m. from 27th April to 31st October. Officially closed: 1st November - 27th April (Even then it is often open form 10 a.m. till 2 p.m.).
The Trenta Museum, with its rich collection of ethnological heritage and cultural and historical tradition, presents life in the Trenta Valley in the past. The reconstruction of a Trenta house with a black kitchen is interesting, illustrating the former living culture. On display are tools and accessories from everyday life, made mainly of wood. Objects from the history of mountaineering are on display, which were used by the pioneers of alpinism during their ascents to the mountains, photos of famous mountain guides from Trenta, and rich literature from this field. There is also the Trenta bell, which was cast in Trenta from domestic iron and hung in the Trenta church for many years. Special attention is paid to one of the most famous stories about human greed, ingenuity, as well as the fatal power of love, the tale of Goldilocks.
