Ami d’enfance du futur roi Louix XI, Jean Daillon (Seigneur du Lude) pris le parti pour Charles VII en 1453. Mais en 1461, Louis XI arrive au pouvoir et Jean Daillon doit se cacher pour éviter ses représailles. Il sera finalement pardonné et devint même Chambellan de Louix XI. C’est grâce à lui qu’on doit la reconstruction du château après son acquisition en 1457. Observez les miroirs de la vitrine rouge, qui vous offriront une vue sur cette grotte où il se cacha.

A childhood friend of future King Louix XI, Jean Daillon (Lord of the Lude) sided with Charles VII in 1453. But in 1461, Louis XI came to power and Jean Daillon had to hide to avoid his reprisals.
