Geocache Description:

The Harrop ferry runs across Kootenay River approximately 24.5 kilometres northeast of Nelson and 8 kilometres west of Balfour.
It services the communities of Harrop and Procter on the South Bank.  It runs on demand and holds up to 24 vehicles and 98 passengers.
The crossing only take about 5 minutes.

Why take the Harrop Ferry?  Procter and Harrop are beautiful communities and well worth the visit.  Sunshine Bay is an amazing Regional Park located on the shores of Kootenay Lake.  If that isn't enough.......there are several Geocaches to be found, as well as the start of an Adventure Lab.

You are looking for a micro sized lock n lock.  Fairly well hidden but not so much for a Geocacher.
Easiest access is to take the little trail that leads off into the trees - not too far from the waiting bench.
