Another extension of the Sunriver Bike Me series; this time using a dirt side 2 track trail from the new paved trail from Sunriver to Lava Lands.
GC5DD20 was archived to open this area. It was surprisingly muggled a few times. This replacement is larger and further from trail, but easily accessible.
The dirt trail is wide and flat. Do not know if it will be muddy during our wet season. It is hard packed so it should be OK.
A person can get a good walk by parking at the trail head; getting several caches; turning on trail 9702 612 about 200 ft past Sunriver Bike Me (extended) #6.5. Cache is set about 110'+ from trail to make sure it has required spacing from nearest cache. After grabbing this cache,; continue to get the Chippys cache. You are looking for a large 5 gallon container painted black. D/T is for the walk. Find should be easy. See reference WP for way to turn onto dirt trail.
