Geocache Description:

The geocache is not hidden at the posted coordinates: that's just a random spot in a field. To work out where it is you need to read the following passage and label what you find A to Z.

There are few things more thrilling in the world of birding than enjoying the bright colors and whirring wings of the world’s smallest birds during a trip to South America or the Caribbean. A flash of green or blue in a sunbeam, accompanied by wings humming: bird watching at its very best! Some species dance in the sun, angel-like; others hide in the shadows like a hermit, or behave like a coquette, giving just glimpses of their Sylph-like beauty. Their range of colors is breathtaking: topaz, tourmaline, beryl, sapphire and violet. Ear tufts, moustaches, crests and streamertails adorning some species, whilst metallic colors make others stand out like a star. Front letter birding experiences in the Neotropics also including watching a rufous-banded plover cresting a wave on a beach; hearing a cock-of-the-rock lek; seeing tanagers feasting on a mango; and walking through a wood, staring into the gloom until your eyes pick out an antpitta. Getting to the best places is often a challenge though, needing path clearance with a machete or sickle. Bill Oddie is full of tales of Andean birding adventures, especially those accompanied by his American friend Barb: throat-clutching terror when Lance, Bill’s other American birding companion, and his wife Rachel met crested puff-adders while trekking towards a lek site; and German birder Jacob in trouble with the FARC in Colombia, attacked with a sabre, wingeing and pleading, and eventually released. Luckily there is usually local support, whatever the weather: through mist, rain, bearers will be as tough as mountaineers as they carry your bags, really showing their metal. Tailing you most of the way will be local kids, wondering what the gringos are up to.  Come to think of it, in case you were unsure, I want to head to the Neotropics tomorrow!!
