Trimming and Tidying the Trail
CITO 2023, Season 1
Attend a CITO from 1st March through to 31st May to grab a season 1 souvenir.
Parking: Off road parking is available at the given coordinates. Please note that this is NOT the main Robinswood Hill car park.
Where: We will meet at the headline coordinates for 1200hrs and then will make our way along the trail to the starting location (see waypoint). Should we move on from the given waypoint I will post out the new coords for the location and make an announcement for those that would like to come a little later.
What: We will be doing a light trim of bramble, trees and nettles so that we don't disturb any nesting birds.
How: The Countryside Ranger will be there providing guidance. We ask you to bring your own gloves and if you have them tools, so if you have shears, loppers and secateurs please do bring them along. Don't worry if you don't have them as the ranger will have a supply too.
Health and Safety: The session and will be covered by council insurance as long as you are working under the Countryside Ranger's instruction.
Please make sure you bring along your own refreshments as it can be thirsty work!
