You have seen the fences on both sides of US 97. This is where the deer and elk (no antelope) cross under the highway. If you wander down under the highway you will have your picture taken. I drove to a point near the underpass from the road which has a cattle guard north of the cache. There is also an unlocked gate in the fence south of the cache if you want to park briefly on the berm of US 97.
