Field Puzzle: Barstow to Needles Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ullii: I wasn't expecting to find it, but I took an extended look around today to see if maybe it was just misplaced. No luck, unfortunately. I can't easily replace the puzzle part, so sadly I'm going to have to archive it. Thanks to everyone who came to Cachin' the Bay and found this cache!

Geocache Description:

This is a simple field puzzle that even the newest geocacher should have little trouble solving onsite. The cache is an ammo can at the posted coordinates, but to access the log, you'll need to figure out the 3-digit lock code to the "safe" inside. If you haven't already cracked it from the title, here's another clue:

On what route can you find over 800 caches in the California desert between Barstow and Needles? (Pro tip: If you keep going all the way to Flagstaff, you will also find GeoWoodstock XX along this route.)

If you still haven't cracked it, you'll find a very large clue when you find the cache.

This cache is located on the trail around the disc golf course in Kelley Park. Please stay on the trail and do not walk through the disc golf course. Kelley Park hours are 8 a.m. to half-hour after sunset. Dogs are allowed on leash.

Thank you to maggiemilie for the cool custom logbook!

Happy hunting!
