The cache name comes from the fog rising off the lake while I was there. The song by Deep Purple came to mind. There’s a couple of ways you could approach this cache. On the way down the road you could turn right on the trail before the bridge at “Gold on the Ceiling”. Follow the trail all the way until a big tree is down & the trail makes a hard left. At this point you would make a right & bushwhack the last 120ft or so. The other option would require a stream crossing. Between “Down in a Hole” & Old 422 Devil’s Elbow turn right at N40 36.450 W79 05.100 you should see “No Motorized Vehichles” sign. The bridge is out on this trail & I DON’T recommend crossing the 8x8 timber as the cement is cracked supporting it. Once again follow the trail to the big downed tree which would be on your left & bushwhack straight up the hill to GZ. Wear Orange during hunting season. Hope you enjoy the hike.
