Coyote Kitchen Traditional Cache

An enjoyable hike is required.
You will find this cache in the middle of a large grazing area and should see some cows on your hike in. There are several ways into this area. One is from the suggested Way Point.
Near the cache is a small gully that should have running water during the rainy season. Older GC listings for this cache report there are several water falls in this creek and it exits near a very nice waterfall down by the paved walking trail along St. Mary’s Road.
On the hill top during our hike we found some cow bones. Originally there were some deer bones somewhere around here as well. All the various bones caused the name “Coyote Kitchen” to be selected. Bones are commonly chewed by rodents to get the calcium. Maybe that’s where the original deer bones went. They don’t seem to be here anymore.
Since it is a fairly old cache and has now been repaired, it could be called new Coyote Kitchen. A new cache container has been placed. No sign of the old container has been found. If someone does find it please remove it and let the owner know.
Near the listed coordinates there is an oak tree with a metal tag. You’re close however; all the oak trees have metal tags. At the listed coordinates is a well camouflaged cache container. In it you will find a note pad and pen for leaving your comments and many small trade items.
This cache has been repaired and is starting with two Jeep TBs and a Coin.
This cache requires a fair hike for access and on a good day there is a chance you’ll see various wildlife on your trip in. We saw several turkeys and a red tail hawk.
