Geocache Description:

This cache lacks a remarkable landscape or a captivating historical tale. Instead, it holds a touching human narrative that I believe is worth sharing. Born in 1937 in Petah Tikva, Moti Harowitz later settled in the neighboring Kibbutz Beit Alfa after his marriage, where he resided for his entire life. With a background in civil engineering from the Technion, he worked in various locations and roles within the field. However, Moti's profound and unwavering affection was reserved for animals. He lovingly raised and cared for them, displaying boundless devotion. From cats, dogs, and snakes to even adopting an injured crow, his compassion knew no bounds.

Moti would frequently journey to the Gilboa Mountains, ascending three times a week to provide nourishment to the foxes and rock hyrax. In fact, he established a feeding point for the foxes, where he planted a tree - the very spot where you are currently standing. Moti's exceptional efforts were acknowledged and admired by those involved in nature conservation. Despite his tireless endeavors, Moti was also a dedicated father who wholeheartedly attended to his family, home, children, and grandchildren.

Unfortunately, Moti passed away in 2018, and since then, the location he had cultivated for the benefit of wildlife has fallen into neglect and disarray. Although I never had the privilege of knowing Moti personally, I decided to hide a cache at the site he created as a means of preserving his memory. While searching for the cache, I would greatly appreciate it if you could take a moment to tidy up the area.

The cache is a medium lock and lock box, inside is a logbook and swag. FTF will also find Lady Liadrin WoW, please be kind and help her complete her quest.

Be cautious of poisonous animals when retrieving the cache from its hiding spot.

My foxes point
