Kaplnka v chotári Nižnej Jedľovej bola vybudovaná na náklady veriacich v roku 1833 a zasvätená v česť Blahoslavenej Panny Márie. V roku 1906 bola obnovená na náklady veriacich žijúcich v Amerike. Počas 1. svetovej vojny bola poškodená a následne opravená. Zničená bola aj počas 2. svetovej vojny, avšak už nebola kompletne opravená. Koncom 70-ych rokov sa začalo s výstavbou letiska nad Svidníkom, kaplnka bola buldozérom zvalená a jej trosky boli odsunuté k blízkemu stromu. Kaplnka bola znovu postavená a odovzdaná do užívania 1.8.2009 pri príležitosti 450. výročia 1. písomnej zmienky o obci Nižná Jedľová, avšak už na inom mieste, bližšie k obci. Je zasvätená ikone Matky Božej nazývanej „Obmäkčenie zlých sŕdc“, ktorej sviatok pripadá na nedeľu Všetkých svätých. Vtedy sa tam koná bohoslužba.
The chapel in Nižná Jedľová was built at the expense of the faithful in 1833 and consecrated in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In 1906, it was restored at the expense of believers living in America. During the First World War, it was damaged and subsequently repaired. It was also destroyed during World War II, but it was not completely repaired. At the end of the 70s, the construction of the airport above Svidník began, the chapel was bulldozed and its debris was moved to a nearby tree.
The chapel was rebuilt and handed over for use on August 1, 2009, on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of the first written mention of the village of Nižná Jedľová, but in another place, closer to the village. It is dedicated to the icon of the Mother of God called "The Softening of Evil Hearts", whose feast day falls on All Saints Sunday. That's when the service is held there.
