 Esta cache encontra-se num agradável e tranquilo segmento ciclável da Ecovia Litoral, entre os troços urbanos de Manta Rota e Altura, no Algarve.
A Ecovia Litoral é um percurso pedonal e ciclável de longo curso que liga Sagres/Cabo de São Vicente, no extremo sudoeste da Europa a Vila Real de Santo António, na fronteira com Espanha, percorrendo cerca de 214 km ao longo de 12 concelhos da costa algarvia. O traçado aproveita ciclovias, caminhos de terra batida e estradas de baixo tráfego, procurando manter-se sempre o mais próximo possível da linha de costa.
Este itinerário está integrado na Rede EuroVelo, a rede europeia de rotas cicláveis, correspondendo à EV1 – Rota da Costa Atlântica. A EV1 é a mais longa das rotas EuroVelo, ligando o extremo norte da Escandinávia (Cabo Norte) até este ponto no sul de Portugal, e a Ecovia Litoral constitui o troço mais meridional desse eixo internacional.
O esconderijo é óbvio e o local é acessível aos utilizadores pedestres e de duas rodas da Ecovia. Nas imediações existirão locais de estacionamento para os restantes meios de locomoção. Deixem tudo como encontraram e caso possível façam um pouco de CITO.

 This cache is located on a pleasant and quiet cycling stretch of the Ecovia Litoral, between the urban sections of Manta Rota and Altura, in the Algarve.
The Ecovia Litoral is a long-distance walking and cycling route that connects Sagres/Cape St. Vincent, at the southwestern tip of Europe, to Vila Real de Santo António, on the border with Spain, running for around 214 km through 12 municipalities along the Algarve coast. The route makes use of cycle paths, dirt tracks, and low-traffic roads, staying as close to the coastline as possible.
This route is part of the EuroVelo Network, the European network of cycling routes, corresponding to EV1 – the Atlantic Coast Route. EV1 is the longest of the EuroVelo routes, linking the northernmost tip of Scandinavia (North Cape) all the way down to this point in southern Portugal, with the Ecovia Litoral forming the southernmost stretch of this international route.
The hiding spot is obvious, and the location is accessible to both walkers and cyclists using the Ecovia. Nearby, there should be parking spots for other means of transport. Please leave everything as you found it, and if possible, do a bit of CITO.
