Welcome to Wānaka’s first multi-cache, hidden around the recreation centre complex with wonderful views of the surrounding mountains.
Home of sport and recreation in Wānaka, the building and grounds offer plenty of opportunities to get involved and be active. From the 25-metre lap pool, learners pool, separate toddler area and adult hot pool, to the outdoor turf, field and athletics track as well as cricket nets and two indoor courts - there is something for everyone.
The centre offers swimming lessons, kids' holiday programmes and other programmes for all ages such as aqua classes, yoga, pickleball and badminton. Local and regional clubs book training sessions and games at the facility and casual play is popular when courts are available.
You can access the grounds through the main car park off Y Sir Tim Wallis Drive, through a gate from New World or through multiple side gates and paths. Take care as the car park can get busy with plenty of muggles around.
