The Wahroonga Cliff Lookout is a pleasant spot to sit and enjoy a view over a valley of trees, with birds (and planes) flying through the air. There are cliffs a few metres from the cache, so I don't recommend visiting at night or after rain. Please BYO Pen.
NOTE: this was originally an in-field puzzle but is now just a traditional as this is a pleasant spot to visit; the puzzle box was not robust enough and was being damaged with each find. I managed to get the pieces back together but now can't open it (sigh) and have decided not to replace it.
In a world of natural things,
A puzzle box sits, waiting to bring
A challenge to those who dare to try
To unlock the secret it holds inside.
For plastic though it may be, this box holds
A deeper meaning than can be foretold,
For that which seems to take forever,
In life, nothing worthwhile comes without endeavour.
There is a sequence of steps that need to be followed to gain access to the log, a combination of moving the sliders and panels
The respective sliders on each side of the box need to be moved in tandem
This is not suitable for Jedi mind tricks - (the) Force will not help
There is a red dot on the lid
Please ensure that you sign the log - merely finding the container is not enough as gaining access to the log is part of the challenge / fun
Please ensure you return the container to its original state once you've finished, by reversing the steps you used to open it
Please, no throwing the container over the cliff in frustration
