The challenge of this cache doesnt come from actually finding the cache, that shouldn't be too difficult. The difficulty comes from solving the box. If you twist and turn the two halfs in a certain way, the you will be able to open it and sign the log.
I wanted to slightly shape the idea of what a cache can be, finding a cache is fun, but the puzzle-solving and hunting need not stop there. To solve the box you will need to backtrack and there are red herring directions as you solve it, it cannot be solved simply by pulling them apart and turning, you will get stuck.
