In Memory of Arthur Curry Traditional Cache
OReviewer: Hello,
As there's been no response to my earlier note, I am forced to archive this listing.
If you wish to repair/replace the cache sometime in the near future, just contact me email, including the GC Code, and assuming it meets the guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.
Thanks,

Arthur is camped out along the scenic Ocean Drive. Please use
stealth to avoid prying eyes.
Note from January 17th 2007 Arthur is back, in a new, more peaceful
location right between the bay and the ocean. He couldn't be
happier with his new digs, and hopes to entertain plenty of new
friends. Be sure to pull off the road when visiting, and keep an
eye out for crabbers, fishermen, and distracted birders who also
haunt this scenic site.
Note from June 25th, 2006 A fabulous new logbook and protective
plastic bag have just been fitted to the cache. Congrats to all who
signed the old log, and welcome to those who will be filling up the
new.
Note as of March 27th 2005 I went to bring Arthur his Easter Basket
this morning and there he was, right where I left him, safe and dry
in his container and Zip-Loc bag. Arthur is above the high tide
line and away from vegetable matter, but beware the prying eyes of
muggles.
Note as of December 12th, 2004 Arthur Curry is alive and well just
outside scenic Ocean City, New Jersey, with a wallet full of terran
cash from recent tv gigs.
I visited his namesake geocache today and saw it with my own two
eyes. I carefully checked the coordinates by placing a Sport Trak
Pro GPS on the exact spot where the cache is hidden. I made a very
small adjustment to help fellow cachers find Artie on their next
trip through OC. I even edited the hint. The cache is there. The
poison ivy is gone. Give it a shot.
He'd like to warn visiting terrans that stealth is of the essence
in protecting his secret identity, and add that those who don't
like poison ivy should be careful in the general area. None of it
is obscuring the cache.
Kudos to those who found this one in its 5/5 original state. Good
luck to everyone else. Happy Caching!
Poor Arthur would've nabbed this cache with a minimum of
difficulty, but that was always his forte. We mere mortals can
expect to get damp and dirty seeking this cache placed in memory of
one of the greatest fictitious heroes of modern times.
It's not going to be easy. There are times when you can walk right
up to it, and times when it's nearly hidden from view. Do NOT wear
your best clothes, you may regret it. Also, since the approach from
land may be somewhat populated, you'll have to use a bit of
stealth.
You may get wet and you may get muddy, but I still think it's a
good, fun cache. Arthur, I'm sure, would agree. Happy caching!
