Geocache Description:

The positions above only tell you this cache is on Vancouver Island. They do not indicate where the cache is located.

Start at the Chinese Cemetary in Victoria, at the altar (two large cement columns that possibly have fruit laid out on the ledge). Determine the UTM at the center of the altar. From here, go 22,599 meters due West, then 26,547 meters due North - presuming a flat world. Determine the position you are now at. In real life, the world is a sphere, so we'll give you a correction factor so things will work out using your GPS.

From your answer, the correction factor is: subtract 226.951 meters from your Easting, and subtract 84.468 meters from your Northing.

The cache is located in the Southeast corner of a giant mass of twisted metal, from ruins of a century ago.
