Geocache Description:

When the population of Palmerstown began to grow in the 1930s the old ‘chapel of ease’, with a capacity of about 200  – and now sadly demolished – was replaced by St Philomena’s on 31 October 1948. This followed a decade of fundraising and the donation of the site and $4000 by the Misses Fitzpatrick of Riversdale. The church is a simple modern plan by architects Robinson, Keefe and Devane. The statuary and bell from the old chapel were reused here in a church with a capacity of 430 in the nave and about 70 in the choir.

The cache, meanwhile, is a magnetic nano. Needless to say, it only contains only a log roll, and you will probably need a tweezers to extract it. Also, bring a pen!

Congratulations to Griff kids on First to Find.
