DO NOT ATTEMP TO ACCESS CACHE FROM THE INTERSTATE!! THERE IS A FENCE BLOCKING YOUR ACCESS!!
The cache is easily accessed from Fairview Rd. The easiest way to get to the Geo Zone off the highway is exit 13 Red Banks Rd off I-269. North a short distance then turn right (East) on Fairview Rd to the GZ. Parking along the road at the GZ is ample for a normal passenger car or pick up. Larger vehicles may not be able to get completely off the road. The berm is paved and wide enough for a regular car or truck.
This is the first cache I have placed since moving to Mississippi about 2 years ago. I used to make caches when I lived in Michigan a few years back but archived them when I left. I have settled into this location so now is the time I have started to hide caches again. I plan on doing more as time permits. I picked this spot for the first one as it is right near a major "crossroads" in Mississippi (I-22 and I-269) that is easily identified on any map
This is a hand made container. It is a log only so bring your own writing instrument to sign the log. The lid unscrews and you only need to snug it when you put it back on. Overtighening it may prevent the next cacher from getting it open. Be careful the log does not fall out when you open it. The cache can be removed from it's location to access the log but must be put back in the exact same location. You will understand why once you find it.
For some folks this may be a P&G but others make take a few minutes to find it. I rated it as a 2.5 as a difficuly but your opinion may vary.
