This event will be a "Build-a-cache" Event! We will talk about what makes a geocache "a GREAT hide".
Sometimes what makes you smile or laugh is the container itself. Maybe is has a special theme or crazy camo.It might be a challenging-to-find disguise that causes you to shake your head in disbelief as you sign the log. You don’t have to have been born with an artistic imagination or any special talents to turn an “ordinary” hide into one that will be appreciated by the next finder. Putting a little extra time with your own special touch can turn a ho-hum cache into a wonderful experience for unsuspecting geocachers.
We will have some examples on hand. Please bring any of your own that you would like to share.
Come join us for a fun morning where you can create a unique geocache to put out in our community.
We will have some containers, glue, epoxy, paint, camo supplies, etc. to share but please feel free to bring your own stuff too. Check out videos on YouTube to get ideas! We will have some power tools, too. You might want to bring a folding chair just in case seating is limited.
