Geocache Description:

Excellent views and great place to picnic. Deep canyon with old trees. 45 minute hike on a rocky but well maintained trail with an elevation gain of about 600 feet to almost 5000 feet.

From the road to Madera Canyon, take dirt FR 62 left and at .3 mile take the right fork onto 62A (unmarked). These roads are fine for a regular auto. Road deadends at trailhead for Florida Trail. Ample free parking. This cache is within 30 feet of the trail. Original contents of the two quart tupperware container are: jacknife, space blanket, magic trick playing cards, chapstick, t-ball, silly putty, hot wheels racing car, bottle opener and emergency poncho.
