My Cameroonian brother from a different mother was intrigued by geocaching, and after a few finds with me, wanted to have me help him hide one. It's an urban cache container stashed in a non-urban area, and shouldn't be too hard to find. It was all I had in my GC bag when out GC'ng, so please forgive me! Also, please tread lightly as you go off trail to search it out. We really don't need an obvious path to the cache!
I was incredibly blessed to be his first American friend when he came to New Mexico 3 years ago to begin his graduate studies at UNM. Along with other firsts, I was able to introduce him to his first green-chile cheeseburger (Blake's) as well as dispelled a lot of myths about America he learned from the media. We have grown as close as brothers over the short time, and I will miss him when he's away. Very soon he's transferring to Stanford University, and I'll be driving him out to California (caching on our way, for sure!). Eventually, as God may provide, I hope to have him back in Albuquerque to continue our adventures together.
Congrats to The Plugge family for the quick nightime FTF! Just took them an hour, and at night even!
