The cache has been replaced in a different position due to a large slip burying the original site. It may be more difficult to retrieve now without being seen, as it's closer to the waterfront and seat, so please be extremely stealthy (or don't attempt to retrieve it) if there are muggles present. The area is obviously well-used at different times as indicated by the amount of discarded rubbish. You might like to bring a bag and do some CITO while here!

An easy cache, no GPS required. In Maungatapu, walking track from a culdesac to the beach.
This is a track that only locals seem to know about. Start from this location S 37 43.076 E 176 10.418 Follow the track down to the beach, the cache is easier to find using your GPS heading up the track for some reason.
The cache is a 1.25 litre plastic barrel thats been camoflage painted.

From the branch in the track, head back up the first steps, on the left at the top of those steps, the cache is hidden behind the tree stump. Park your car down Vine Ave, Maungatapu in Tauranga, Right hand culdesac.
