BYO MARSHMALLOWS 7
It's been over 6 months since the last
"Marshmallows" event so we decided to pull our collective fingers out and
book in number 7
This time we are heading about 200k's
east to a great little spot called Kwolyin Campsite
The campsite is situated on what used
to be the old football oval. It boasts toilets, camp kitchen, large
& small shelters, dedicated tent camping and caravan bays,
campfires with BBQ plate, bush walks and a pioneer walk trail through
the old campsite & more.
There are no camping fees, and bookings are not required.
You bring the marshmallows !!!!
Depending on your stamina it might be worth bringing a chair, somewhere
to sleep, some food and refreshments
Marshmallows will be melting between 18:00pm & 20.00pm.
But feel free to get down early, or hang around after...

Facilities at Kwolyin Camp
Number of sites: Several, areas for both caravans and
tents. (Marshmallows will be roasting in the tent area)
Camping Fees:Free
Bookings: This is a free camping area, 1st in
best dressed.
Toilets: Flushing toilet with wash basin
(recommend you bring your own toilet paper)
Pets: Pets are allowed with conditions
Kitchen: Camp kitchen with gas hotplates and
sink
Camp fires: Only in designated fire pits.
Barbeques: Gas BBQs are provided.
Picnic Tables: Yes.
How to get there:
The
site is off the Bruce Rock-Quairading Road, with the main access point
being from Kwolyin Street. The turn off is 39km West of Bruce Rock, or
39km East of Quairading.
