Discover Mission Viejo Geotour

This cache is part of the official “Discover Mission Viejo GeoTour GT4D8” which will lead visitors to discover trails, parks, and other prominent locations throughout Mission Viejo.  Those who complete the tour will be eligible to receive a GeoCoin for their achievement by completing the GeoTour passport and finding code words.  Passports and instructions can be found here: Geocaching | City of Mission Viejo.

This cache has two parts at stage 1. Part 1 is calculating the coordinates for the final geocache, and Part 2 is calculating the combination lock needed to access the totts at the final. Once you finished with Parts 1 and 2 at, you may proceed to the final location, where the cache and totts are located.

At the above coordinates you will find a historical marker. The final geocache's location can be found at:

A = The last digit in the year that this building and adjacent land were dedicated PLUS the last digit in the year that the sports team was formed.

B = Number of words in the title of the marker (not including "historical site").

C = Number of letters in the sport that is mentioned on the plaque.

D = The last digit in the year that this building and adjacent land were dedicated.

E = The month (i.e. January = 1) that this building and adjacent land were dedicated MINUS the number of 9s in that year.

F = the number of times that the word "team" appears on the plaque.

GHIJ = the number located near the very top of the plaque. This number is needed to access the totts at the final.
