The best laid plans... as the saying goes.
Having had to abort my planned cache maintenance run along the Santa Clara Truck Trail due to the closure for maintenance grading (or so I was told by the fire crews at Bear Divide) I had to find something to accomplish to make driving all the way up here worth the trip.
After making my way carefully past the birdwatchers, I ascended the beginning of the Bear Divide trail to scrawl my name below (no surprise!) w0lf's grubby little FTF pawprints on the first two new caches, I returned to the car and descended LIttle T. With some unused replacement caches on hand, I stopped at this spacious turnout to see if I could unload one.
Indeed I could.
Should only take you a minute to scramble over to where the cache is hidden in much more typically c&d style than the recent hides in Griffith Park. And while you're at it, grab some of the abundant litter and take it with you to clean up the joint just a little bit. Thanks!
Cache is a painted pill bottle. Please try to leave minimal impact and watch out for poison-oak.
