Welcome to Schodack Island State Park. This loop has a variety of geocaches (some easier ones with passport stamps and some extra ones just for fun).
Here at Schodack, the park employees like to see folks looking for the hunt. Sometimes, they even give out a few hints. This one is a fake object hiding right there in plain sight. If others are around, please share out what your hobby is and introduce folks to the Parks Passport.
This cache is part of the 2023 New York State Saratoga/Capital District Regional Geocache Challenge! The stamp inside this cache is part of the game, and it is not a trade item – please do not take the stamp. There are 72 geocaches hidden within 18 state parks and historic sites in this park region, and geocachers finding 45 or more will be eligible to receive a 2023 Mine Kill State Park commemorative and trackable geocoin.
